Square Enix have recently announced that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age are now available for pre-order for Xbox One and Xbox One X. Due out for release in April, these critically-acclaimed titles have both been re-mastered to provide the very best audio and graphical quality for the ultimate play experience.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a must for any FF fan, as it contains not only the re-mastered version of Final Fantasy X but also it’s sequel – Final Fantasy X-2. Renowned for their emotional storylines and stunning graphical quality the original games were a big hit selling over 14 million copies. Now fans can follow the stories of Tidus, Yuna, Rikku and Paine in beautiful high definition, and with either the original or re-arranged soundtracks to switch between.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac age is a re-worked and re-mastered version of the 12th entry in the FF series that originally sold over 6 million copies worldwide. Now in full HD the new version boasts more than just updated audio and graphics, and even supports 60fps on the Xbox One X:

License Reset Function – By talking to Clan Centurio’s leader Montblanc in Rabanastre, players can reset and change their party member’s jobs, allowing them to customise the jobs of their party as desired.
Additional Gambit Sets – Gambits allow players to customise their party’s AI. Players can now create three unique sets, allowing players to switch between sets for different situations, such as map exploration or boss fights.
Improved ‘New Game+’ – Allows users to start the game with party members at level 90 and carry over some items like weapons, magic and Gil obtained during previous playthroughs.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be available on the Xbox One family of devices and Nintendo Switch on 16th April, with Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age coming later in the month on the 30th.
