So for all of you who own an Xbox One, listen up! I have some information on some important project updates that you may or may not be interested in.

These new updates will be delivered at the start of next week.  Marc Whitten, Chief Product Officer has said that similarly with the Xbox 360, there will be regular updates for the Xbox One. These will deliver new features and platform experiences for Xbox One owners.

February 11 – System Updates

The first update will be delivered to customers who sign into their Xbox One. Many new improvements will be featured including; behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games, stability and product updates to improve the customer experience and continuous improvements to the quality of Kinect voice to allow for the commands to be more fluid and responsive over time.

Some of the features you expect to see on February 11 include:

  • The ability to see and manage your storage space. You will find it easy to find how much space your content takes up and better management of your content. You will also be able to control your install lineup and more easily manage your download queue. My Games an My Apps are not in separate lists and you can pick the order in which you want your content to load. You can also better track the updates while they load though the boot progress indicator.
  • The battery power indicator is back! You can see it on the home screen so you can track how much battery is left in your controller.
  • You will also be able to use your USB keyboard with your Xbox One.

More details on these features and updates will be shared in the coming weeks.

Titanfall is available on March 11th and is a team-based online multi-player game that showcases Xbox Live. The new part and multi-player system will be ready in time for the game’s release.

Marc Whitten, Chief Product Officer says that:
