It has been an incredible 12 months for gaming; the world has been spoiled with some of the biggest studios in the world pulling out all the stops to bring us all something special.
Now unfortunately as the same as in “Highlander” there can be only one, this year we wanted to awards Game of the Year to something truly special. This game made a huge impact to gaming with outstanding graphics, an intricate and detailed story that has barely been equalled and an open world so huge you could be daunted and lost in the map for days.
The winner for us at XBLG this year had to be The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the team at CD Projekt Red outdone themselves by giving us the closest thing to a masterpiece I have personally ever known. We thank you for the free DLC that you continued to support your community with and looking forward to the last piece of Season Pass DLC that will tie off the adventures of Geralt of Rivia.
We would like to thank our staff and community for the support and feedback over the passed year, we look forward to more adventures together over the next year and beyond. Hope you all had a great holiday period and have a safe and responsible new year when it comes ……. but also, have fun.
