Guys! I have the ultimate treat for you, courtesy of our friends at GameFlavor! What if I told you there was a way you could enjoy one of the best franchises in the survival horror genre as a drink? Sounds incredible right? Well, now you can! I am here to tell you that the time has come to enjoy a refreshing beverage based on the First Aid sprays from the Resident Evil games. Yes, the actual sprays have been turned into the very thing you would imagine, and I must say GameFlavor has really outdone themselves, I cannot wait to dive deeper into the contents of the Resident Evil First Aid Drink Collector’s Box in collaboration with Capcom this is the perfect gift for any fan of the game or collector. So, let’s heal up and dive in!

Do I Have Your Attention, Boy? You Are About To See Something Wonderful!
The Box

To start the Resident Evil First Aid Drink Collector’s Box is made of a strong cardboard material, now I know from the look of the box it comes off as looking metal, but rest assured the design of the box and the toughness of the material, it may as well be metal. It’s extremely strong with a slick and glossy design. The concept of the box is as if the box was pulled straight out of the Resident Evil games, designed to look exactly like the save room containers giving the box the perfect look and exactly what any Resident Evil fan would need or expect! One thing I do love about the size of the box is that it’s the perfect size to store other items in, so it has multiple uses which I found helpful. Another fact about the box is that if you use a UV light on it you will find a little secret on the outside of the box itself, no spoilers but it was a nice little thing to find.

STAAAAAARS!
The Ink Ribbons and The Herbs

Once you open the box you will find 4 ink ribbon tins, each containing different coloured powders based on the herbs from the Resident Evil games. To start you have the Red Herb, this herb is made with powdered Hibiscus Flowers. The Yellow Herb is made with powdered Turmeric. The Green Herb is made with Green Macha Tea and lastly, the Blue Herb is made with Aronia. These herbs are to be used to create recipes using the First Aid drink which I will go into detail about more in this review. I would highly recommend using the herbs using the recipe cards and not on their own with the drink.

Each herb has its own unique taste and flavour – truly adding to the recipes and the different drinks you can create. The ink ribbons are tins and can be used again after it is empty for other purposes. A fun little easter egg is also hidden on one of the ink ribbons, can you find it? If not, then I will shed some light with you on a bit of Resident Evil history.

During the development of the first Resident Evil game, the developers accidentally left a typo on the ink ribbons with the ribbons reading “Roiyal Type” rather than “Royal Type” then was fixed in the following game, Resident Evil 2. This was a unique and fun little easter egg to find especially being a huge Resident Evil fan myself and I know this was probably noticed by true fans of the franchise.

Included In The Box

Each Resident Evil First Aid Drink Collector’s Box comes with a leaflet that goes into detail about the ingredients in the 4 herbs and other pieces of information on what you will find in your box. You will find a certificate of authenticity which has the official stamp and the number box you have. I had the number 1789 out of 4750! By the way guys, the Resident Evil First Aid Drink Collector’s Box is LIMITED EDITION which means once the boxes have all been sold, they’re GONE!

You will also find 4 different recipe cards with 2 recipes for each herb. For the Yellow Herb, you can create Las Plagas and “Berry” Burton. For the Green Herb, you can create Samurai Edge and Cinatiropa. Using the Red Herb, you can create Nemesis and Code Veronica. Lastly, for the Blue Herb, you can create Gaiden and Revelation.

One thing I love is the fact how precise they go into detail making it easy to know how to create with added extra ingredients to make the perfect beverage. You will find a Making of The Resident Evil First Aid Collector’s Box, the best part about this book is the fact you can find EVERYTHING! You will find information and details on where the idea came from, you can see artwork based on the concepts they came up with before the final design for the can. You can find artwork based on the box.

The way they created the spray cap which I will talk about in a bit and how it works including the blueprint. You will so much in this book, and you can take a trip down memory lane of horror survival. There is even a coming soon section that teases their upcoming projects, don’t miss out on checking these out. One unique factor I love about the Resident Evil First Aid Drink Collector’s Box is the spray cap, a true homage to the first Resident Evil games. The spray cap is fully automated, with the function to work. It can be attached to any of the cans and if you want to add it LITERALLY any can that’s 330ml. This also recreates the exact replica of the first aid spray cans from the games.

10 Refreshing Cans

Under all of these awesome items, you will find not one case but TWO! Each case comes with 5 of the First Aid Drinks, in a beautifully designed box. The First Aid drinks have one of the nicest, most refreshing combinations that I didn’t think would work so well. Each can is packed full of goodness with the aroma of cucumber and the delicious taste of Lime and Mint.

I honestly was blown away and truly enjoyed the flavour, even better when I added it to a glass with a couple of ice cubes, this also showed off the green colour of the drink, which made it feel even more like it was pulled straight out of the game.

I must say that this is NOT an energy drink, and purely a carbonated drink. No caffeine whatsoever. The design of the can has been made to look exactly like the first aid sprays from the game making this more than just a drink but a unique collectible and the first of its kind.
