Sea of Thieves has been met with mixed reviews since it launch, claiming to not have enough content to support its price point. In all fairness that can be seen as true, though with the recent free update of “The Hungering Deep“, the developers over at Rare are working on making this a truly expanding and awe inspiring game.

At the Xbox E3 conference the game showed off a beautiful trailer which announced 2 updates incoming, which are respectively titled; Cursed Sails and the Forgotten Shores.
Cursed Sails is slotted for a July release while Forgotten Shores is announced for September, this gives up time to get to grips with skeleton filled pirate ships before a map expansion drops for players later in the year.

Both of these announcements are looking to add to the games already fun player base, though hopefully new customisation options and ship variants might be thrown in.
