For those of you who have pre-ordered Bungie’s new title Destiny and are eagerly awaiting any information about when you get to try out the game, there’s some good news. Bungie have just revealed that the launch window of the beta for the Xbox consoles will be “late July,” meaning there’s not much longer to wait.

This comes from a photo taken by a trailer that has supposedly been published on the Xbox Dashboard, so as much as it sounds like it could have easily been fabricated, it seems likely that this is the time that the Beta will be running for people to try out and, more importantly, for Bungie to sort out any bugs and tweak the game before it’s launch later in the year.

Destiny is a new First-Person Shooter from the makers of Halo to be published by Activsion. Destiny features a persistent world, where you can meet other players and interact with them similarly to an MMO. It’s scheduled to release on the 9th of September this year.
