I previously put an article up on this very site regarding the Dark Souls Trilogy – Release Date, well over the past few days there have been advancements. Not only do we have the utter heartbreaking horror of the wonderful Dark Souls Trilogy, we now have a collectors edition; let the praising of the sun begin.
The collectors edition is released with a number of mouth watering goodies that any Dark Souls fan might just be insane enough to buy (destroying my credit card so i cant do the damage).
The collectors edition contains: a 34 cm tall hand painted figure of the Elite Knight standing over the iconic bonfire, a six disc soundtrack collection, a 460 page combined walk through of the trilogy which includes maps , an item encyclopaedia, a bestiary of enemies and bosses, plus a manuscript of all dialogue. The book alone is probably what a hardcore fans wants as these usually double as outstanding art books.
As well as all the goodies, the players will also get the final versions of all 3 games; Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades. The entire collectors edition does cost and eye watering £449.99 and if you are dedicated enough to buy this – here is the link you will be wanting.
The Japanese edition of the collectors edition contains slightly different collection, though some pretty looking book ends.
