Atlus finally bring a sequel to Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker

Atlus, the genius’ behind hugely successful series such as Persona, Catherine, and Shin Megami Tensei, revealed the sequel to the 1997 Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker, for the Sega Saturn. Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker, incidentally, was never released in the US or Europe. It was ported to PlayStation in 1999 but was only released in Japan. It finally arrived for Western audiences for Nintendo 3DS in 2013.

Soul Hackers 2 will release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but will also release on last gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, plus Windows and Steam. This news is so big because this is the first game since Catherine in 2011, fully developed by Atlus to release on the Xbox platform! Could this be a further sign of more Japanese support for Xbox?
