Now let’s talk about it; first we get an epic teaser trailer that, to the untrained eye doesn’t really give us that much information, but I myself am content with it for a little while longer. It first features Master Chief during that memorable moment in all our lives when he “gave the covenant back their bomb” in a remake of the Halo 2 Cairo Station cutscene done in absolutely stunning CGI. It blew me away with the detail, it just looked amazing! Then the Arbiter begins talking as Master Chief delivers his bomb to the Covenant Cruiser, it seems as though he is talking to another person. Keith David sounds as brilliant as ever, but I noticed a slight change in his voice from what I’m used to with the Arbiter but it was a welcome change to me, a little clearer and crisper then the old games. As it goes on we find that he was in fact talking to another, it’s the mysterious ONI Spartan from the release article a few weeks ago:

The Arbiter refers to our shady character as “Agent Clarke,” and so we have a name. The CGI cutscene fades into oblivion and Agent Clarke turns as a door opens, you can partially see the Arbiter standing before him to the right of the screen, and again in his visor![]()

The scene beyond is rumor to be Sanghelios, due to the presence of the Arbiter and the fact that it resembles the planets description in novels and other Halo lore. It is a high possibility. After that I’m afraid we don’t get anymore information. The teaser ends on a chilling note from the Arbiter
“because the seeds of our past, are sewn in his future”
We are then greeted with more classic Halo music as 343 Director Bonnie Ross walks on stage, elaborating a little on what we saw whilst showing us some sweet images of what looks to be remastered content before she announces the Halo Master Chief Collection (or more so confirms it)

This includes Halo CE, 2, 3, 4 all on the Xbox One with Halo 2 getting the full Anniversary treatment (so it doesn’t look like the others are getting remastered) and it’s coming to you November 11th, 2014, but wait, there’s more!
Halo 2 Anniversary will contain Halo 2’s Multi-player Intact,”exactly as it shipped ten years ago” with two maps digitally remastered, so this is to say that the rest will have there original graphics, we’re also getting the multi-player with every halo map ever released (that’s over 110 maps!) on 1-4 all running on there original engines, 60 frames per second on dedicated servers!
But wait, there’s still more!
With the Master Chief Collection we also get “Halo Nightfall,” a live action digital series, and it’s events will set the stage for Halo 5: Guardians story. So we will be finding out more information from that, but wait… yeah, I’m saying it again, there’s still more.
When you pre-order the MC Collection you’ll also receive access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta multiplayer coming 2015.
All of this for the low price of 59.99 USD. At the end of this I was lost for words, and all over the internet halo fans suddenly announced their need for an Xbox One.
