Ubisoft today announced that its updated critically acclaimed survival-horror game will be avaible for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC from 21st January, 2016.
The Game unlike many in the Zombie survival horror genre takes place outside of the USA and instead in London, where players will have to survive the horror of the infected city. Players will gather various weapons to combat the undead throughout the game, however the game will severely punish those who get themselves killed, If a player’s character is killed by a zombie (which in some cases only takes one bite) then that character will die and will reanimate as a zombie while also keeping what ever was in it’s inventory at the time, Players will then respawn as a new character with a new inventory, if the player wishes to regain the items lost they will have to track down their former character and kill the zombified version in order to regain their gear.
The zombie survival game was originally released as a launch title for The Wii U in 2012 and was liked by critics. Many noting its ability to scare and punishing systems in game. The game has received a number of updates for current gen consoles including upgraded visual effects, faster loading times, improved flashlight gameplay and all new melee weapons.
ZOMBI is currently available via digital download on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC and with a retail version coming on the 21st of January, 2016
