An interesting little bit of info here as a Watch_Dogs Closed Beta download has been spotted on the Xbox One Marketplace under the demos category. Before anyone gets excited, the 23.07 GB Download is listed as Unavailable, so could be purely for internal testing purposes to put the game through it’s paces. The multiplayer, apparently seamless, allows players to invade and hack other people playing the game, but can be turned off if people don’t want to be bothered. Sounding a little bit like Dark Souls, this multiplayer could be incredibly interesting for the type of game Watch_Dogs is.
Though it has appeared lately, it’s unknown the reason for it being there at all, and could purely be a glitch that it appears for the public at all, with no indication that it’ll be made available to the public any time soon, if at all.The launch is creeping up, and a lot of people are excited to finally get their hands on Watch_Dogs, so this is just helping the hype train role. The game is scheduled to release in May.
