Tom Clancy’s The Division is due out very soon and Ubisoft are keeping up the hype for the online-based open-world RPG by announcing what to expect when you finish the main campaign.
The two tiers, Free and Paid, will add different functionality to the game. The free updates will add features such as new game modes to the online co-op mode and also add unique rewards for the game. The Paid expansions which are included in the season pass will take you deeper into the heart of New York and add all-new challenges to the experience.
The three known expansions to be released this year are:
– Underground: This first major expansion opens a new territory to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to three friends for intense co-op action.
– Survival: This will make the entire map of the Division into a ‘Dark Zone’, a creating specific areas in which players can help or kill each other for rewards.
– Last Stand: TBA
People who buy the season pass at launch can obtain the exclusive sawn-off shotgun – a devastating close range weapon – exclusive clothing and weapon skins and exclusive content drops and special events. You can get the season pass automatically by buying the Gold and Sleeper Agent editions of the game.
