Weappy brought us This is the Police last year to PC and it was positively received. This is the Police is an adventure strategy game that places the player as the chief of police, managing members of the force, allocating resources and officers on the beat, as well as responding to the press and political matters. As a standalone experience, This is the Police looks to have a lot of replay value. Officers gain experience and there is a level up system similar to how XCOM made you choose perks on your soldiers. Scenarios will force you to commit officers and resources with a rogue-like element of consequences.
This is the Police looks to be an interesting addition to Xbox One, I’m hopeful its conversion to console is a smooth transition.
Keep your baton at the ready, This is the Police is set to launch on Xbox One 22nd March, so save some payday cash aside.
