If you read last week, I posted an article here about the event that GAME had an event in London’s Hamleys of Regent Street to celebrate FFXIII: Lightning Returns being released. Just as a refresher, selected GAME stores across the UK were taking part in The Thirteenth Hour [basically at 13:00 (1pm) the game went on sale for ONE HOUR].
Anyway, now that the game is now available in the stores, it can safely be said that the event was a success. The GAME store at London’s Hamleys saw the attendance of legendary developers Yoshinori Kitase and Yuji Abe, who were on hand to greet the hundreds of fans determined to become the first in the UK to own the game AND have it signed by their heroes.
A number of exclusive prizes were also won, including a signed limited edition Steelbook copies of the game, Lightning figurines and other rare merchandise.
