Since the new consoles were first announced there have been announcements of games for both consoles that have been interesting, but no game has even come close to the anticipation that The Witcher 3; Wild Hunt has in my opinion. Over the time that the consoles have been available for release to the public, The Witcher 3 has been delayed by a set period of time …. and this does not bother me.

I have said in prior articles that I can not and will not be angry or annoyed about a delay that I know will only make the end product even more outstanding. It is a bold move for a developer to announce a delay on an anticipated title, but you wouldn’t want to live in a house that was rushed to be built or drive a car for the same reason; then why accept a game that the creators tell you is not up to their standards? We have seen the results of a game that is rushed; a prime example is Dead Island, the game was met with critics slandering the title. So a delay for the right reasons can be a good thing, but only if delayed for the RIGHT reasons.

The Witcher 3 was recently shown behind closed doors to some selected groups of people for a hands on with the game. On Monday 26th of January at 7PM (GMT), www.twitch.tv/GOGcom will be streaming live gameplay with developer commentary of brand new unseen to the general public footage of The Witcher 3; Wild Hunt. Along with this, there will be announcements of new pre-order bonuses and a Q&A sessions online for fans to get their burning questions answered.
