The Witcher 3 was one of the biggest games of this year. With a huge sprawling RPG world, fantastic visuals and gameplay, and a mature, adult story, it was clearly a fan favourite. One of the greatest things about the release was the developer, CD Projeckt Red, released multiple different pieces of content for absolutely nothing.
Now that all of the free DLC for The Witcher 3 is finally out, we have the two announced paid Expansion Pack sto look forward too. Until today, we only had some general windows of the release, now we have some exact details.
The first expansion, Hearts of Stone, will be released on October the 13th, and will add up to 10 hours of gameplay with new monsters, characters, a new game system and mechanics to play around with. Check out the trailer below.
While there’s not a current price point for the content, a physical edition (Priced at $19.99/£12.99) for this expansion will release with a download code and two physical decks of the card game Gwent, that turned out to be one of the most popular additions to the game series. This also marks something not seen since Expansion Packs in days of old, with an actual physical copy being released for, what is essentially in these days, downloadable content.
This won’t be the end of the adventures you can have with Geralt, however, as there will be another Expansion set to release at some point after this one.
