If you’re a gamer, then the name Yu Suzuki should certainly ring some bells. He’s worked on a number of legendary titles, including Space Harrier, Shenmue, Virtua Fighter and Out Run. Well, he’s back – and with a new legend on the rise!
ININ Games has announced that, alongside Suzuki’s YSNET, it is bringing Air Twister to consoles, after a successful run on Apple Arcade. The game will be available in both digital and physical format on PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch, as well as digitally through Xbox Series S/X and PC. It’ll arrive on November 10th!
“In Air Twister, embark on an epic quest with Princess Arch as she fights to save her planet from imminent destruction. Armed with arrows that trace graceful arcs of light, she confronts bizarre invaders in her path. With more than 20 unique enemies to conquer and beautifully designed stages to explore, Air Twister promises an unforgettable gaming experience,” the company noted in a press release.
The game features an “authentic old-school arcade feel,” along with “varying levels of difficulty” and, of course, dazzling visuals.

- 12 artfully crafted stages with unique and new experiences each time you play. Embark on a fantastic journey, resembling that of Alice down the rabbit hole.
- Over 20 Vanguard creatures and 10 unique bosses to challenge your skills and simple controls for a fun and easy play experience.
- An epic soundtrack by Valensia, a Dutch music composer, known for over three decades of keeping the musical rock and opera heritage of Queen’s greatest hits alive.8
- High replayability by unlocking Challenge Games in the Adventure Map with different modes like Arcade, Turbo, Boss Rush and more!
- Many fantastic Minigames with surprising elements.
