With the release date drawing ever closer, Bethesda have released a new gameplay video of their upcoming title, The Evil Within. The video gives a heads up of things to expect from gameplay and a little insight into what the enemies that you will be encountering actually are.
The Evil Within looks as though it will take you to the edge of sanity, and then tear the ground out from under your feet. Gameplay seems to be a nice blend of puzzle solving and survival horror, where the very environment is both the puzzle and the enemy at the same time.
The Evil Within also looks to be a breath of fresh air from your unlimited ammo FPS and third-person shooters, as this game does not want to deal out too much ammo, which will have to be conserved. Areas will have to be searched thoroughly for ammo and craft-able items to create new ammunition for Detective Sebastian Castellanos’ unique weapon, the agony crossbow.
The Evil Within is due for release in Europe on October 16th for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
