Tomorrow THQ Nordic will release it’s latest title “The Dwarves”. This latest title which is a fantasy tactical role playing game, will be the third game by the company to be funded through crowd funding. The Kickstarter which ran from September to October raised a grand total of $310,091, with two already successful crowdfunded games under their belt fans could be forgiven for being optimistic about this new title.
As the title suggests the game focuses primarily on The Dwarves, The game which is built around a whole world full of Lore about the classic fantasy race. Players will get to fight with up to 15 unique companions as they fight hundreds of enemies at once thanks to the game’s physics engine.
Many RPG veterans of the industry such as Brian Fargo, director of Wasteland 2 said and quote “The visuals for The Dwarves look top notch and these guys have already delivered two games funded by the fans, I’m behind this team all the way!” And Max Schaefer CEO of Runic Games (Diablo, Torchlight) said that “The Dwarves is a legitimate project by a team that has already delivered. Its the sort of game that is easy to support.” In my opinion It is encouraging as an RPG fan to see this game receive such high praise from these Veterans.
The Dwarves will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
