In addition to that, a physical version is on the way, and the Switch 2 version is ON CART! Let’s get dangerous! It looks to arrive on May 29th, and you can pre-order direct from Atari here.

When it came out a few years ago for consoles and PC, The Disney Afternoon Collection from Capcom gave us retro bliss galore. It delivered six classic NES Disney titles for a much more reasonable price, along with rewind and other cool features. But the Nintendo Switch was always left out of the party – well, until now, that is.

A Japanese eShop listing has revealed that the game will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 26, 2026 for around $20 or so. It will likely still have Digital Eclipse as a developer, but Atari is taking over for publishing this time around.

This looks to be official, with screenshots and details and everything. But there’s also one interesting caveat – new games.

Goof Troop Is Back! (And Bonkers) In the Disney Afternoon Collection!

Along with the six previously included games, this version looks to also come with Goof Troop and Bonkers, likely the SNES editions from Capcom. This is tremendous news, considering they were both cult hits.

The full details are included below, straight from the listing:

This collection includes quality-of-life updates and numerous additions to the original games. The rewind feature fixes mistakes like missed jumps, and the save feature allows you to save your progress. Test your speedrunning skills in Boss Rush and Time Attack modes (except Goof Troop and Bonkers), and each mode features online leaderboards. Finally, the Music Player plays classic tunes. Additionally, Gallery Mode offers a fascinating glimpse into the behind-the-scenes stories of the games in a virtual museum curated by Digital Eclipse historians.
