Tetris Ultimate will be available on Xbox One this summer, Ubisoft recently announced. It was announced earlier this year in January that Ubisoft and developer Blue Planet Software planned to release on next-gen consoles to mark the game’s 30th anniversary. The game will also be available at Ubisoft’s E3 booth this summer, so if you’re lucky enough to be there you can check it out! Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov and Tetris Company managing director Henk Rogers will be there at the booth alongside Blue Plant Software CEO Maya Rogers.

The latest version of this classic will be downloadable and allows 1-4 players to battle it out in six modes – Battle, Endless, Marathon, Power-Up Battle, Ultra and Sprint.

Here’s some screenshots for you to check out too. It’s great to hear that this will be released so soon, and to mark 30 years of such an iconic title. I’m looking forward to it!
