Star Balls, the Sci-fi story focused puzzle game which was previously released on Steam, is now seeing its first console release today on Xbox One. The game which sees you take the role of one of three robots in their quest to gain their freedom.
In the game players puzzle solve their way through a giant space vessel as they must solve various problems from dealing with black holes, maintenance fires and of course hostile robots who are also aboard the ship. The game which advertises itself as a “casual game” contains 50 levels and while claiming that its aimed at a more “casual market” it promises to bolster an immersive and in-depth storyline something which I normally wouldn’t associate with Casual games but at the very least that means this could make for a rather unique title.
While the game itself is quite small in terms of size and perhaps not quite as in depth as some other titles in the puzzle genre it is my opinion not bad for the pricing of £4.99. If you’re someone that is perhaps looking for a quick way to relieve that crazing for puzzle games this may be it.
