There’s been many games that have used the Minecraft method of building, crafting and mining but none are quite like Space Engineers. Ever wanted to build your own space station, space ships? Wanna mine out some asteroids in deep space? This is what Space Engineers is. Bare bones calling it Minecraft in Space is apt, but there’s so much more here.
Functioning ships, big and small, of your own designs, wheels, weapons, anything you can imagine you can almost already do in the current version of Space Engineers that is in Early Access on Steam and announced at GDC you will be able to play it on Xbox One as well. It’s great fun in it’s current state and will be an excellent addition to the Xbox One for those who love this style of game where you can go around and just create and explore.
