EA AND MAXIS today announced that The Sims 4 would be receiving a new expansion which those who have played Sims in the past know isn’t unusual for this title. However, they also announced something a little more exciting today as The Sims 4 is coming to Xbox One on the 17th November. Maxis have partnered up with the team over at Blind Squirrel Games to bring the iconic game players know and love to the console platform.

Promising the same gameplay you would find on the PC the talents of both teams have aimed to keep the Console version as close to the base game as possible right up to expansion packs which will launch along side The Sims 4 for console. These packs will require purchase but will offer some of the fan-favourite content from the PC. The Sims 4: City Living expansion pack, The Sims 4: Vampires game pack, The Sims 4: Perfect Patio stuff pack and The Sims 4 Vintage Glamour stuff pack will all be available on the 17th November.

To help Console gamers feel included however the base title The Sims 4 will release with some extra content included already. Gamers will have access to build pools, have access to new careers and the toddlers life stage. This means The Sims 4 can now be enjoyed from the comfort of the sofa while players chose what life aspirations to fulfil, what clothes to wear, hairstyle to rock and a whole host of other things to create the most exciting life for there Sim.
