News of this anticipated game has been floating around over the weekend and t seems as though one very interesting piece has caught the attention of those following the progress of the game.
In an article published by IGN, it states that according to the Sony Entertainment Network, the game will be released on June 30th priced at $59.99 – a reasonable price for a digital version of the game. Now, judging that this date is a Monday, where games released in North America are normally a Tuesday, then a lot remains to be seen about this particular release date.
Other news suggests that Watch Dogs with come on June 27th, which has been listed by Amazon France, seems more plausible. Unlike the June 30th, June 27th falls on a Friday which is the common release date for Europe. This would then suggest that the game would be released in North America on June 24th.
The online retailer revealed that “Watch Dogs” should be shipping on June 27th in Europe on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PC and Wii U.
Remember, that all of these dates are currently speculation and the online retailer (Amazon France) may not be up-to-date.
Rest assured that the official release date window for Watch Dogs was set to take place between the start of April and the end of June 2014; so these dates might still be a reality. Let’s just hope Ubisoft don’t delay the game a further time to make some last minute changes *touches wood*.
