Get those plastic instruments ready, Rock Band 4 is less than a month away, and we’ve got some news of even more songs coming to the game.
While we have the full set list for the game itself on the games official site, there seems to be a bit of an oversight when it comes to the extra songs that are available for download and/or pre-order with the game.
With a quick search of Rock Band 4 on the Xbox Store, you can see some yet unnannounced songs are still part of the list. “My Own Eyes” by ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire and (most importantly to me) “Gimme Chocolate!!” by Babymetal are all on the list with no prior mention of them in the games official soundtrack OR as previously downloadable songs. You can’t currently see the prices of them, as they’re locked behind a bundle status, but it’s likely these will be available either on launch or soon after.
Rock Band currently has over 2000 songs available across the first three main titles, Lego Rock Band, Beatles Rock Band and Green Day Rock band. That’s already a ton of music you can revisit in the next generation of Rhythm games, but it seems we have a happy, musically diverse future ahead of us.
You can pick up Rock Band 4 for around £62.99 ($79.99) for the Xbox One, which includes the special Adapter that allows you to use your old Xbox 360 instruments with the new game. There’s also a guitar bundle for £109.99 ($129.99) and a “Band in a Box” bundle for £219.99 ($249.99).
