Last year, we had the pleasure of reviewing Nacon’s refreshing RoboCop: Rogue City. It has since become our favorite RoboCop game, even managing to outshine Data East’s arcade classic in terms of tone and wanton violence. Plus it doesn’t hurt to have Peter Weller back on board, for the first time since…well, Mortal Kombat 11. And now he’s back for more, as RoboCop: Unfinished Business is set to release this summer for consoles and PC.
A standalone expansion from Nacon, Unfinished Business follows the events of the original game. This time around, he’s taking on a group of highly-trained mercenaries that are wreaking havoc within his city. But what’s interesting, per the trailer, is that it actually reflects on his earlier time, when he was just street cop Alex Murphy. (Once again portrayed by Weller, might we add.)

You’ll continue to have access to RoboCop’s full arsenal, and a new weapon, the Cryo Cannon, is set to enter the fray. We have a feeling this will stop criminals…cold. We had to say it.
The vibe of Unfinished Business looks to fit the original movies that preceded it. Heck, we’re even getting ED-209, who will no doubt be a pretty awesome boss battle. Better have that arsenal on hand.
Check out the trailer below and prepare for trouble as Unfinished Business gets ready for a summer release. It’ll arrive for PS5, Xbox Series S/X and PC, so choose your platform wisely.
And while you’re at it, make sure you snag the original RoboCop: Rogue City! It’s on sale right now and you should definitely buy that for a dollar.
