Players who preorder Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 digitally on Xbox One will gain access to various exclusive bonuses, one of which is the ability to play with Cuphead, Mugman and Sunset Overdrive heads. Cuphead and Mugman are of course from 1930’s cartoon run and gun platformer Cuphead from Studio MDHR and the Sunset Overdrive head is the main character on the box art of the 2014 open-world adventure game. Given the recent backlash towards Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5’s subpar graphical fidelity and recent switch in art style to a cel shaded aesthetic, these preorder incentives may sway players into picking up Robomodo’s revival of the once beloved series.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be out on Xbox One on September 29th in the US and October 2nd in the UK.
