Progress through the story of Outerverse

Outerverse… Minecraft meets No Man’s Sky?

Outerverse is a single-player game from solo developer Tbjbu2 and publisher Freedom Games. This minecraft lookalike game appears to be full of charm and innovation. In my mind blending together concepts from the successful games Minecraft and No Man’s Sky.

Players must chart their way across a flat-earthers dream universe, traversing cube-shaped planets throughout outer space. Across 6 randomly generated planets, players must find crafting materials to build bases, tools and weapons to aid in progression through the game.

Craft your way to success to reach the Outerverse

Outerverse boasts and impressive nine million combinations of schematics and tools that allow players to create facilities like farms, factories, weapons, and teleporters. Fight your way past six sinister cubic colossi who are responsible for the mass extinction of intelligent life.

The game contains 60 quests across three acts which the game calls ‘Ages’. These Ages finish with huge cosmic events! A sign of good story progression and pacing. Using your gear and your starship, to navigate find all six planets, liberate them from their tyrannical colossi by developing bigger and better inventions. Journey to where no cubi-naut has gone before… The Outerverse!

Exciting project from a passionate solo developer

Sole developer Tbjbu2 said “Bringing a fan favorite genre into the stars is something that excites me as a player even more than a developer,” . “The open ended building possibilities, the dramatic set pieces of cosmic events, towering alien monsters… I need to finish sooner than later so I can finally start playing the game myself!”

Outerverse is a very exciting looking game with huge growth potential. Outerverse is available now on Windows PC via Steam Early Access in English with more language support planned for the future. Outerverse is also available on Epic Games Store. There is no word yet on plans to bring this game to consoles by i have my fingers crossed for console gamers.
