Bethesda and id Software have unleashed the all new trailer for the multiplayer mode in the upcoming DOOM game! It looks like the game will feature some glorious high intensity combat like a mix of Halo, Quake 3 and a huge bucket of gore and entrails thrown in for good measure. Numerous weapons feature to tear apart the other people you will fight against and the trailer even shows off the awesome transformation gimmick – become one of the mighty demons from hell itself and devastate your opponents!

Also announced is the official date of the DOOM closed beta! The lucky bunch who pre-ordered the exceptional Wolfenstein: The New Order can finally access the promised Doom beta which will take place between Thursday the 31st of March to Sunday the 3rd of April. You will get to play on two of the multiplayer maps – Heatwave and Infernal and play two different game modes – Team Deathmatch and Warpath. There will be the Revenant Demon to play as and various weapons to lay the beat down with. You can find out more information on the Official Doom Beta Webpage. The all new DOOM is due to land on the 13th of May on Xbox One.
