Sink your teeth into this! Hot off the press is the news that DONTNOD Entertainment’s Vampyr is soon to receive some new content this summer. The narrative driven-RPG set in 1918 London has you battling both the plague that is ravaging the city and the undead, vampire hunters and various mobs that inhabit the dark streets of old London town.
The content update will include two new game modes which will add further replay options for both existing and the new players who have yet to give in to the bloodlust and sink their fangs into the game. As well as some optimisation tweaks, we’ll also see a toned-down story mode that de-emphasises combat and will offer a cranked-up challenging Hard mode.
The Story mode will supposedly make the game much easier compared to a standard playthrough, without worrying about the combat. On the other hand, the Hard mode will make combat more difficult and players will receive less experience from enemy kills forcing you to embrace more unsuspecting victims to gain more in power.
Vampyr is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
