The wait is finally over. Narrowly missing the expected August release date, Minecraft for the Xbox One will be released this Friday, the 5th of September.
The updated version of the game that everyone talks about boasts up to 36 times bigger worlds, a greater draw distance and more compared to it’s Xbox 360 counterparts. If you’re worried about a world you’ve spent countless hours crafting (pun kind of intended) to perfection, no need, as you can transfer old worlds to the new version of the game. All of the previous DLC has now also been confirmed to be coming to the console as well, with previous worries that it may have not been possible due to licensing issues, most likely on the Marvel front.
It will release for £15.99 ($19.99) new, or £3.99 ($5.99) if you’ve played the Xbox 360 Version of the Game via Download or Disc.
