For those of you still playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 while waiting patiently for the Xbox One version, some good news has appeared via the 4J Teams Twitter account. The new update, TU14, has been sent off to Microsoft for testing, so it should only be at most a couple of weeks away.

There is a number of new features that will be implemented into this version, bringing in Villager Trading, New Ores to Find, Tripwires and more. This brings the Xbox version quite close to the PC version now, as it brings in a lot of features from older patches and newer ones at the same time. The time have said before that they are differing from precise PC Patch Notes as some things take a lot less time and effort to implement than others, such as Carpets, which was much simpler to get in this release than say the Horses, though these should be coming with the next Title Update, but it is unknown if this will drop before the Xbox One version is finished and released. A list of some of the additions can be found below.

  • Emerald
  • Emerald Ore
  • Block of Emerald
  • Ender Chest
  • Tripwire Hook
  • Enchanted Golden Apple
  • Anvil
  • Flower Pot

  • Carrot

  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Night Vision Potion
  • Invisibility Potion

A full list of changes, including new recipes, interface changes and fixes can be found here. Hopefully it won’t take too long for Microsoft to test and get it out to the public, as a lot of these changes are great for those who are a bit more creative or are just looking to find more things to mine. Still no news if the rumored release of the Xbox One version of the end of March is true, but it may not be far away.
