Minecraft on Xbox 360 is getting a free title update that will add a bunch of new achievements for fans to collect. These include tasks that are only possible in the creative sandbox such as taming an ocelot and curing a zombie villager. Xbox One Minecraft owners will know these achievements well as they came as standard with the current-gen version but now those who are still playing the multi-million-copy-selling game on Xbox 360 have a chance to increase their Gamescore by an additional 600 points.
In addition to the thirty new achievements, Xbox 360 players will also get a bundle of new tracks and new character skins which will allow you to alter the appearance of your character from the generic ‘Steve’ to characters of different races and sexes. Majong, who were acquired by Xbox last year in a multi-billion dollar deal explain that there was a need to have a different character skins that represent Minecraft’s diverse playerbase.
Are you still playing Minecraft? If not, are these achievements, tunes and skins enough of an incentive to get hooked all over again? Let us know in the comments.
