When you think of Minecraft, PVP generally is not the first thing that comes to mind. Well today that’s going to change with the release of Minecraft Battle.
This is a free update for all Minecraft console edition owners, that features three arenas (Crucible, Lair & Medusa) to test your mettle ……. and friendships. Battle is set out in a way that rewards you for exploration as typical Minecraft values, such as hunger still applies and you have to micro manage your own health with finding improved weapons and armour; and all this whilst trying to be the last “Steve” standing.
With Battle all the hard stuff is set out for you so you don’t have to reset chests or redstone after every match (YAY!) and it supports split screen play, like the games of old!
Mojang plan to bring out extra maps as time goes on and this is supported with an optional season pass or you can always download the maps seperate.
