Today’s update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is a doozy. And if you haven’t played Super Evil Megacorp’s wild roguelike adventure yet, now’s the best time.

Metalhead has joined the game, alongside the Turtles and previously introduced Casey Jones, as a playable character. He brings lots of firepower to the table, as you can see in the trailer below. And he’s all yours for a meager $3.99, a reasonable price considering what he brings to the table.

But that’s just a small part of a major update available for all players of the game starting today. There’s a new arcade mode introduced within the game, letting you play old-school style. What’s more, however, you also get three new biomes, as well as huge performance improvements. And yes, this looks great on newer consoles.

You can also unlock new artifacts, as well as the new Hex and Flex system for better buffs and nerfs. And you can even play around in Metalhead’s lair, if you’re up for it. We played it and it’s lots of fun, and great for players of all skills levels. (Well, Arcade mode will test you, let’s just say that.)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is available now for Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC/Steam. Go get it!
