Today is the release of the long awaited Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on Xbox One and Xbox 360. After the events of Ground Zeros (Which was on Games with Gold for Xbox One last month) comes the events of The Phantom Pain. Take the “final journey” from Kojima and his epic tale of tactical espionage action, take the role of “Punished Snake” voiced by Keifer Sutherland (not long time voice actor for the series David Hayter) and build your army of fortune.
Explore the epic landscapes, build your army and become the legend that Big Boss went on to known as. This game is the most ambitious Metal Gear game to date and is a fitting swan song for the Kojima and his time with Konami. The later stages of the games development was widely publicised in the media and we hope that the splitting of the two will not have any negative effects on the conclusion to one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.
