Two of the people behind one of Microsoft’s brand new IP ReCore, which was revealed during last week’s E3 press conference, have shed some more details on the upcoming game.
Some of the key points mentioned are listed below:
- The game’s main character is called Jewel, and her companion goes by the name Mack. What is unique about Mack is that his consciousness is inside the blue core, and will remain inside the core even after it has been transferred into another unit.
- Mack is part of a faction that is looking to restore humanity to the world. However, there is another faction that does not wish for that to happen.
- It would appear that there will be a fairly big focus on exploration and survival, and how Jewel and Mack cope in an ever changing environment.
- There will be sandstorms in game that will affect the maps during gameplay as well as changing the scenery, so it would be safe to assume that certain areas will become inaccessible after a certain time.
- Jewel will be able to acquire new cores on her travels, which can be used to upgrade existing cores.
- Mack will not be the only companion in Jewel’s journey, and each of them will probably have their own abilities that will aid Jewel’s adventure.
