If anyone interested in Halo does not know the origin of the Spartan project, then we should stop here and listen to the #HUNTtheTRUTH podcast located HERE. The podcast is all about a reporter Benjamin Giraud and his investigation into the origins of the Master Chief and where he came from. They take a look at where he came from and the horrible events that shaped him into the hero that humanity needed, then it discovers something different all together.
The show is split up into episodes that vary from 15-25 minutes an episode, and at this point is starting to explain the mystery surrounding the two very different Halo 5: Guardians trailers. It will shine light on the situation of John-117 or more commonly known as the Master Chief, and how propaganda combined with the very shady ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) stop the public realising that humanity might now be the friendly and helpful race that it is made out to be.
I recommend listening to in bulk, even loading up your playback device of choice and listening to the podcasts one after an other or even listen to the sound cloud releases when you are at your computer. Either way it is an extremely interesting and gripping podcast that will always leave you wanting more; as well as building a great amount of interest into the story of Halo 5.
