One week has passed since the launch of Halo 5: Guardians and the results are in: The massive assault from Microsoft has paid off with the biggest Halo début yet and the fastest selling Xbox One exclusive game to date – raking in over $400 million in global sales already and bringing the franchise worth over $5 billion. Even the launch of the new James Bond film in the cinema’s couldn’t match the lofty heights of Halo 5’s launch sales!
The game is already the most played on the Xbox One, with over 21 million hours logged on to the campaign and multi-player modes. The game even broke a Guinness World Record for most watched video game launch broadcast with more than 330,000 unique viewers and five and a half million views!
