So if you have the Master Chief Collection and not yet loaded up the Halo 5 Beta then what is stopping you? So there has been a ton of issues with the multiplayer matchmaking for MCC, but do not let that put you off trying out this times exclusive for the next big leap in Halo multiplayer. The more people log in to play the better data will be collected and hopefully minimise the issues when the full game is released.
Anyway back to the update for what is new to the beta going into its 3rd week.
Strongholds mode will be available, which is a zone capture game in which the object is to control at least 2 of the three zones to start scoring points for your team. This will be available on the maps Regret and Empire as well as a community voted forge map called Pegasus.
The weapons that will be available to use in the multiplayer beta are the sniper rifle, energy sword and the Prophet’s Bane which are all making a return as well as adding the rocket launcher making its debut.
The content from previous weeks will still be available to play such as the slayer maps Truth, and Breakout mode (which was introduced in week 2) which will have the Crossfire and Trench maps.
