The Coalition have announced the latest details about the upcoming December update for Gears of War 4. The new update give those with the Season Pass more bang for their buck, two new maps will be available to download as part of the season pass. These new maps come a month after the release of fan favourites from previous titles, the maps were Checkout and Drydock.
Speyer: This new map is players will battle it out in a District and academy that has been untouched by the Locust War. This Sanctuary although great for Close quarter combat, its interiors are ideal for longer range engagements.
Glory: The second new map sees players decking it out at a secret military fortress which was reserved only for more strategic targets. The fortress itself is very defensible for players, if seized the fortress includes a powerful mounted turret which can be used to open fire on any enemies who may be wandering the courtyard below.
Both of the New add-on Maps will be in added to the public playlists beginning December 13th this means that maps “Gridlock and Relic” will be leaving the playlist for now. In addition to the new maps, the update also include what are being dubbed “Gearsmas goodies” and new fixes and game improvements.
Xbox One and Windows 10 owners who have not picked up the game yet are now able to for 33% cheaper this until the 28th of December.
