The Coalition‘s Director of Community, Adam Fletcher has announced the lead composer for the studio’s latest title, the highly anticipated Gears of War 4. Renowned and Emmy nominated composer Ramin Djawadi, who has composed for many great films and TV shows such as Game Of Thrones and Pacific Rim will now compose the latest entry in the critically acclaimed franchise.
Ramin’s attempts to blend of the sound from the lancers, gnashers and voices of the franchise, to give the game a fresh and amazing audio experience. Lucky for fans, The Coalition has released a sample of Ramin’s work on the game and you can have a listen for yourself below. The video also contains a great behind the scenes look at the composer at work, as well as seeing the man himself at work the studio head Rod Ferguson as well as audio director John Morgan and mixing engineer Alan Meyerson all pitch into to discuss their creative process and what inspires the various musical aspects of their up and coming title.
Hopefully from this small teaser fans can begin to look forward to hearing more of Ramin’s work which I like many hope will add a whole new level to the gears of war experience.
