For those of you who don’t have a USB Keyboard, don’t use Smartglass and really hate using the on screen keyboard on the XBox One, worry no longer. Much like the Xbox 360, the Xbox One controller is getting a chat pad add-on this November.
Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, headphone jack, volume controls much like the headset adapter as well as a Game DVR and Screenshot buttons, this chat pad looks like it could be really beneficial for those who want a quick way to type to their friends. There’s also 2 controllable buttons as well.
This add-on will be great for games like Neverwinter too, which, being an MMO, utilizes in-game text chat functionality, meaning you can ask for trades or party members much more quickly and conveniently.
