Good news for everyone with Xbox Live Gold: this month’s Games with Gold offer has been doubled on all platforms for this month only. That means 2 Xbox One titles and 4 Xbox 360 titles.
For those who are lucky enough to own an Xbox One, you’ll be able to download Child of Light and Pool Nation FX from April 1st to the 31st. Child of Light is a platformer from Ubisoft, while Pool Nation is a pool simulator, that being the bar game rather than the swimming variety.
Anyone still using their Xbox 360 should look towards their dashboard on the 1st to grab Gears of War: Judgement and Terraria until the 15th. Gears of War: Judgement is the 4th Gears of War title which is a prequel and spin-off of sorts, focusing on Baird and Cole before they joined up with Marcus Fenix. Terraria is a 2D Platformer/Metroidvania-esque game that is similar to Minecraft and incredibly popular.
The second half of the month has Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel. You can grab these between the 16th and 31st of April. Black Flag is the Pirate focused Assassin’s Creed game, and the 4th main entry into the franchise, while Army of Two is a co-op based third-person shooter with a neat amount of customization and some great action.
Keep in mind, this is a special offer for April, so don’t expect this many games every month. Even so, this is a fantastic boost to anyone’s game collection, and is even making me consider going back to my 360 just to play Gears of War, since it’s the only one I’ve missed out on.
