XBLG---Game-Release-Roundup.jpg

After seeing almost a release a day last week, this week seems have to almost stopped as it’s quite light on the ground for releases this week with only two of them!

Gunscape – 02/03/16

First up is the First Person Shooter World Building hybrid, Gunscape which has been developed and released by Blowfish Studios.
I spoke about this game back at the end of January as it was due to be released in the last week of January but has been pushed back until this week.

To save you hunting for the previous article I’ve pasted the info below:
…Gunscape an ID@Xbox title. The First Person Shooter has been developed and published by Blowfish Studios. However, this isn’t your typical FPS game! The players create the gameplay!

That’s right you get to create the levels and according to Blowfish Studios the game is more of an “FPS Construction Kit”. You can recreate levels from your favourite shooters and your imagination is the limit. You’ll also be able to share any maps you create, which also means, if you’re not too into creating, you can download other players maps and start shooting your way through them.

Ironcast – 04/03/16

Brining this weeks releases to a close is the Dreadbit and Ripstone Publishing steampunk mech combat game, Ironcast.

The game is set in alternative history, where defined Victorian era people that you’d usually see strolling down the street in top hats and bonnets (not at the same time usually), are instead controlling gigantic walking war machines, taking out any enemy of the British Empire!

It’s your job to command one of your own and protect 1880’s Victorian England.

To do this you’ll need to match up various nodes of the same colour to either go on the offensive to attempt to wipe out the opposition, or defensively if you see a massive attack heading your way. You’ll need to think strategically though, this is war remember and a gung-ho trigger happy approach just won’t do.
