Welcome to another Games Release article! This is unfortunately an extremely short article as there is only one release this week, but the release is kind of a big deal, and I have personally been looking forward to for a good few months now!
Rocket League – 17/02/16
Rocket League, developed and published by Psyonix, has finally made its way to Xbox One! As of tomorrow you will be able to own a copy of the physics-based, vehicle-football (or vehicle-soccer depending how far West you go) video game!
You may not know that it’s a sequel to 2008’s Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, (sadly never released on an Xbox console).
The aim of the game is to score goals with the football you’ll find in the middle of the pitch. Games can be played from one-on-one or up to four-on-four with elements that are reminiscent of a destruction derby! Oh, the mayhem.
You’ll have to be fast and skilful while jumping about and racing to get that ball towards the opponents net and away from yours.
All the actions in the matches, scoring, assisting a goal, saving etc. all go towards experience points that will unlock decorations for your car but it will also affect the players you’re matched up against.
If that still hasn’t sold you then you should check out the YouTube video below. See you on the pitch!
