Its been a little while since i did one of these but I always find it helpful finding all the weeks releases in once place so i don’t miss out on any little Gems or big name titles.
This week saw a few big names releasing for Xbox one.
Injustice 2 – 16th May 2017
Injustice 2 pulls us back into the alternate DC universe where Batman attempts to fight Supermans reign of terror. This time around we see much more love poured into the single player campaign, as the massive DC roster, including Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern and many more try to save the earth from the brink of complete annihilation. Once you’re ready you can take the fight online in this epic clash of the titans, we know were in safe hands with this fighter from the creators of Mortal Kombat X.
The Surge – 16th May 2017
Brought to you by Focus Home interactive. Another impressive looking title for the 16th of May is The Surge. In a world of metal, exo-suits, cybernetic enhancements, epic melee combat and loot, whats not to love? Defiantly a game i’ll be looking to play in the very near future.
Black and White Bushido – 17th May 2017
Black and white Bushido sees the forces of Light and Shadow face off in a 2d arena brawler, using unique mechanics that make use of the light and shadow on the map. Depending on your fighter, you can make use of the lighter or dark places on each stage to drive home your advantage. Definitely a Pizza and beer night in kind of game.
Tango Fiesta – 17th May 2017
Inspired by classic 1980s action films, Tango Fiesta is a twin stick, top down shooter where you shoot and knife through your enemies in procedurally-generated stages with your friends, either locally or online.
A Walk in the Dark – 19th May 2017
This title sees you take control of Bast, a cat, in this dark fantasy adventure where you must explore the shadows to see what may lay there. You must use all your wit and agility to make it through this dark platformer. This title supports Xbox play anywhere.
Mayan Death Robots: Arena – 19th May 2017
A new take on the classic artillery genre of games. Mayan Death Robots: Arena lets you choose from a huge roster of robots to take into the deadly arena, will you try to use strategy and the best vantage points to your advantage, or will you rely on your defences to try and make it through?
Shadow Warrior 2 – 19th May 2017
Continuing the story of Lo Wang, Shadow Warrior 2 sees you wield both sword and guns to take on your enemies in the most brutal and epic ways possible in the offbeat first person shooter.
Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island – 19th May 2017
Set in a light hearted and colourful world, Skylar & Plux draws inspiration on classic gameplay, gadgets and an action packed story as you collect new tools, gadgets and powers in your attempts to save a paradise from certain destruction.
