After a very successful Kickstarter campaign, G’AIME is taking the next big step in bringing Time Crisis back to homes. The company has announced that its plug-and-play featuring the hit Bandai Namco arcade game is set to arrive this December, with numerous packages available!
Tassei Denki confirmed the details today, with the package set to celebrate Time Crisis’ 30th anniversary in a timely fashion. “Designed under license and supervision of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and multiple members of the original TIME CRISIS arcade team, the G‘AIM’E Time Crisis Lightgun, features the full arcade ROM for true authenticity and realism. Lightguns of old fail to work on modern displays, as they relied on old CRT technology to operate, but by utilizing A.I. driven technology, Tassei Denki has created its own, custom hardware solution featuring a high-resolution camera in place of the traditional infrared technology used in Lightguns of the past. A modern solution for a modern problem, the G‘AIM’E Lightguns calibrate with ease and work on virtually any display,” the company noted.
