With the next chapter sweeping onto our platforms soon, Epic Games has delivered another handful of updates onto their popular multiplatform game, Fortnite.

Update V19.40 adds not only a ton of improvements and fixes, but also a batch of new content to keep our hands warm and trigger fingers ready!

Amazing Web Week
From 1st March 2022, players will be even more indulged into enjoying Spider-Man’s Web Shooters as they’re now available to find in loot chests rather than just the webbed backpacks located around the map. As well as the additional Web Shooters, players can also make more use of them by taking part in the “Amazing Web Week” Quests which they can earn extra XP.
The Amazing Web Week loot change and Bouncer addition are not included in competitive playlists.

Adjustable Time of Day in Replays
For players who love to re-watch their previous games (or even share them!), now have the opportunity to change the time of day when playing back their replays. However, they can only be done of games which have taken place in Battle Royal or Creative Islands as long as the time of day hasn’t been set by the creator of the Island.

Guard Spawners in Fortnite Creative
The new Guard Spawner, much like that of the Creative Spawner, is used to spawn in customisable Guards into your Fortnite Creative Island. Guards can be spawned in up to 8 different skins with a compatible weapon, or you could even leave that to random choice by providing them a pool of arsenal to use.
The maximum amount of Guards which can be spawned at one time is 30, this does not affect the limits for wildlife. The Guards can be assigned to patrol, much like the standard Guards, or they can also be assigned to teams to double the fun (or the rage!).

Item Granter Updated
The ever loved Item Granter in Creative has had a two additional features in this update. Items which you want to grant to a player, can now be spawned at the players location rather than directly into the players inventory. On top of this, if a players inventory is full, you can now simply chose not to grant them any items (nasty!).

Supply Drop Spawners
A new feature which has been introduced is Supply Drop Spawners! We all love it when was is on its way down, and we rush over to get it – well now, take control of these drops with a whole batch of customisable configuration of items, drop points and also frequency!
